I love writing….and creating artwork….so what better way to combine the two than by writing about ‘A life in Art’! I enjoy working in the visual arts as a Fine Artist, Designer & Illustrator, Medical Illustrator, Art Demonstrator and Writer.
Exhibiting at the wonderful Animal Art Fair at Fulham Palace in 2011. This is the cheetah I followed for a day, back in my Kenya days!
I like to work on a variety of projects. In 2011 I have been honoured to be Artist in Residence at BBC Radio Lancashire. I started teaching animal art workshops in the 2026 Gallery at Radio Lancashire in Blackburn…..and thank you to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for the use of some amazing elephant images as reference! At the same time I was thrilled to be invited to put on a solo art exhibition in the Gallery. Following on from that I exhibited in the 2026 Gallery with the Association of Animal Artists; I love exhibiting with my friends in AAA! I was then invited by BBC Radio Lancashire to run a series of portrait art workshops….and our model was Gilly (Radio Presenter John Gillmore.) In October I was very honoured to be invited to teach a BBC Art Masterclass with a wonderful model Nisha. I will post the progress of this portrait after Christmas; on here and on my Facebook page.

I have also enjoyed writing a number of articles about art during the year; for Leisure Painter Magazine and more recently for a lovely local magazine ‘Love Lytham and St Annes Lifestyle Magazine’!
My first adventure in 2012 will be at the Spring Fair International. I have been invited by the Fine Art Trade Guild to give a ‘Talk and Art Demonstration’. The title of my talk: ’A life in Art’!
Also in 2012, I will be teaching an Art Workshop for Leisure Painter and The Artist Magazines. The date, venue and title of the workshop are to confirmed….but it will be in Lancashire!
