Equine Art
Anne's lifelong love of horses grew even more after owning a retired polo pony and also retraining a Thoroughbred horse off the Nairobi Racetrack in Kenya (many years ago!). Over the years Anne has remainted determined to help support equine charities such as the Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre (TRC) in the Northwest and World Horse Welfare's Penny Farm near Blackpool.

Wildlife Art
Anne considers herself fortunate to have spent over 11 years living in Kenya from her early teens. She later lived in Saudi Arabia and South Africa before settling back in the UK with her Lancastrian husband. With the kids 'all grown up' Anne and Bob have more time to enjoy travelling themselves, in-between Anne's 'art journeys', teaching art on specialist art holidays and on cruise ships. However, it was during these early days in Kenya that Anne was first inspired to create artwork to help promote wildlife conservation and support wildlife charities, something she continues to do, where possible. She is a Signature Member of Artists for Conservation, based in Canada and a Founder Member, Inaugural Chairman and Honorary Life Member of the Association of Animal Artists, based in the UK.
